This Coogee home has been in the same family since 1976, and we reworked it to suit how they live now. It’s split into two connected homes: downstairs is a self-contained home for Tomi’s mum with a kitchen, laundry, bathroom and two bedrooms. Upstairs is for Tomi and her partner, where we enclosed an unused part of the balcony to enlarge the bedrooms, added two bathrooms, a WC and a new kitchen, and installed a lift for easy access.
